Your everyday makeup is incomplete without make up brushes. This guide will show you the brushes you really need for your beauty routine. I wish I had a guide like this before buying my brush set, ladies tend to buy the 24 or 32 brush set like its the main deal, trust me girl, half of this brush set are practically useless. Which is why I put together a list of must have make up brushes to put your best face forward. Lucky you, these brushes are sold singly I.e you can buy them without having the buy the whole brush set. Don’t forget to follow me on Snapchat @themieblogger for SNAPCHAT SUNDAY for a recap and live tutorial of these brushes and how to use them.
1. The Angle brush
Babes, an angle brush is one of your best friends. It is used for highlighting the eyebrow. It is used for lining the lips and it also helps to achieve a defined eyebrow arch. It doubles as an eyeliner brush for the perfect cat eye.
2. The Spoolie brush

Also called the mascara wand…
It is important for achieving an organized eyebrow. It is used to blend out harsh lines from the eye brow pencil. It simply gives a finshing touch to your brows.
3. Blending brushes
I cannot begin to emphasize the importance of these brushes. However, you do not need all this brushes for your everyday beauty routine. But if you can afford to buy them, the merrier. They are used for blending eyeshadow, foundation and concealer. They are fluffy brushes that softens and blends make up products to create a seamless uniform look. Eye shadow is a different world entirely, I will do a more precise guide for eyeshadow brushes.
4. The Foundation Brush
I do not use this brush because I feel it packs too much foundation on the face. I use one of my blending brushes to apply my foundation. It gives you a more even coverage and a smooth finish.
5. Powder brush
A powder brush is fuller and fluffier. It helps you to set your face with powder after you have applied foundation and sweeps away extra make up.
6. The Fan Brush
This brush looks like a hand fan, hence the name. It has a feathery texture to sweep highlighter, blush or bronzer over your cheek bones. It can also be use to dust off products fall out.
